Mural

The Noah's ark mural was always a small fantasy that I had but never really thought would come to pass. I had once asked some people who do murals and outside art as a profession in San Francisco; they not only poo pooed the idea but went further to ridicule it; Certainly it wouldn't help business they said

Crecenciano Contreras is a carpenter, tile worker, etc. who one day came to the clinic in need of work. At the time I couldn't think of any immediate work that was needed so just kidding I said you're originally from Mexico so why don't you make me a grandiose mural outside sort of Siqueiros style? I was shocked when his response was "sure". With the help of his daughter Marisol they completed the Noah's Ark mural in a few weeks. Our only challenge now is keeping the street gangs from graffitiing it.
